Originally from Germany, and educated in the American West and Midwest in both business and the arts, Rainer Neumann is a devoted painter, poet and songwriter. As he takes in the experiences of both his travels and his explorations, he has expressed himself through a variety of arts, from establishing an arts magazine “Canticle” to painting watercolors and creating pastel drawings with longstanding exhibitions in galleries and local cafes. His own haiku often accompany his coastal pastels. No stranger to poetry, he has published two books of poems with pastels and two books of

translation of his father’s poems and his mother’s journal, originally penned in German.
