Greeters: Past President, Dave Dickson with EP, who was part of our group who attended the Millbrae Club fundraiser, shared fortune cookie sayings from the event as her invocation.

President Dianne honored the following individuals with Star Key chain and “It Is ALL About What WE DO! certificate for their contribution to the success of the event:John Evans - Mitone Griffiths, Catherine Yaque, Elizabeth Schuck, Warren Barmore They all committed many months and countless hours to organize this event
The estimated gross for this event as of March 26th was $37,192.00. Sponsors: total $11,000 Ticket Sales: $12,950 Auction: $7,797.00 Drinks: $2,360 Raffle :$2,520 ,Tote Bags: $90 and Misc. donations: $475.00
Ralph Ely acknowledged Dianne for her wonderful introduction as MC of the event. Kevin thanked the membership for helping with the set up and commented on how fabulous the band was.
Dianne read thank you notes from the volunteer nominees and Judy Macias this year's winner commented, "It takes a village".

John Evans took Mitone to the Airport on 3/10 and received a $50 donation to the Rotary Club Dictionaries Fund. Our Exchange student, Fie, would be attending RYLA this coming weekend. John E. would like us to acknowledge Jeff who did our sound check at Magic. The band members from Blue Stree Jazz Band who played for Magic have quite impressive credentials and some of their regular followers attended our event. Sherri, the singer, teaches at Fresno State as a professor of AnthropologyAnnouncements:
Ginger announced that they were having their ribbon cutting at Bay World Travel's new location this evening and all are invited.
Mitone was sorry to have missed the event but was visiting with her grandmother in the Philippines. Mitone’s daughter, Mia qualified in her recent swim meet with doing the 50 yard free style completing it in 27 seconds.
Elizabeth announced Easter egg hunt will be held at Cunha fields on the 4th at 11AM and will end at 11:05 so come early. Sponsors are HMB Rotary, Boys and Girls Club and Sheriff’s department.
Charise announced Business Round Table at It’s Italia.
Rotary Clubs of Half Moon Bay and Pacifica will have their joint meeting in the evening of 4/16 at the Senior Center on Main Street. Seville Tapas and Catherine will be doing the catering.
Dream Machines – Andrew will be rounding up volunteers. Any monies collected can help us with the dictionary shortage.
Shauna announced Relay for Life. Hoping to get 20 members signed up so we can have a Rotarian doing laps for 24 hours.
HMB Marathon will be looking for volunteers. TBA
Coastside Women’s Club funraiser – Bingo Night 3/28 6PM Ted Adcock Community Center.
Judy Macias sent a flyer about the Sonrisas fundraiser on 4/23 6:30 to 8:30 Paella demonstration and dinner at Toque Blanche, $45 .
Warren Barmore offered members a unique opportunity to volunteers to help with RYLA on Saturday.
Clean up at Carter Park Saturday 10-12AM.
District Conference “ Disneyland” 4/30-5/3
Magic Moments” that Dianne asked members to describe were:
Ginger liked the music effect when the nominees were announced.
Bill Johnston was impressed with the parade of “young” volunteers followed by Catherine and they all were arranged according to height.
Charise said the food was wonderful, and Kevin added that it was the best food ever.
Bill Johnston commented on John Evan’s efforts to the success of the event and observing John and his beautiful wife, Larkin.
Thank you to Warren for organizing Interactors and other Youth working through the evening.
Shauna thought it was wonderful to see the nominees escorted to the stage. And how special it was for her to have her daughter working the Raffle with her.
Ginger …..holy cow!!!!.....she picked the elusive “white” marble for a total of $726.
