History of Carter Park
Liz Schuck introduced Larkin Evans, the granddaughter of John Carter, who gave us a brief history of Mr. Carter.  Carter Park was named in his honor.
John Carter was a principal who treated his students with respect and individual attention.  Every week he would create learning opportunities with special trips as awards for success.  He was also the mayor of Half Moon Bay. We were shown a picture of him opening a letter that is believed to be confirmation of the incorporation of City of Half Moon Bay.
Remember we have committed to clean Carter Park on a monthly basis.
