September Schedule Change
There will be a meeting on Thursday, Sept 25 since the number of volunteers we can provide for the Nick of Time event at the High School is limited to only those who signed up the first day Mike passed out the list.  There are so many people from the community volunteering that we can’t have most of the Club participate.  So regular meeting on the 25th, after all, with the emphasis being on Youth Services, Interact, Ryla, and our exchange student, Anna Sophie.

Nick of Time Foundation Heart Screening Event, Sept. 26 Update from Mike Inglis - The names of those who signed up the first week have been given to the Nick of Time group and they will be contacted with information at some point.

Dave Anderson/Steve Andrews – Small Fundraisers
Dianne has asked the to identify some quick and easy ways to raise small amounts of funds with a minimal amount of effort to supplement the funds we need for the Dictionaries that we distribute to all third graders.  We get only 1/3 of the needed funds from the District Designated Funds we request.  Dave asked for ideas from members and described one we can get started on right away – a Rotary member Airport Carpool.  People would request someone in the Club to take and/or pick them up from the Airport and would donate around $50 for a round trip to the Club to go toward the dictionaries.
