Invocation: Dave Dickson got a call from John Evans stating he and Larkin were heading south to welcome their new grandson. Dave said ”we need more babies!”

Rosi Fontana handed out lemons from the trees on her friend’s, Hal’s, newly purchased ranch/farm.
 
 
Warren Barmore – Blood drive today at the IDES in Half Moon Bay
 
 
Ed Daniels just returned from Costa Rica and will be sharing his adventures with us at a meeting on January 23rd.
 
Happy birthday E.J.!!
 
Ralph Ely reminded the club that his wife, Rose, bought him a Mercedes on one of his birthdays.
 
President, Ed Daniels, stated the club is in better financial times thanks for Dianne Bobko, Mitone Griffiths and Liz Schuck efforts.

Reports: Paul Wrubel received a check for $1,000 from San Mateo Credit Union for the purchase of dictionaries.
 
 
Chair reportsDianne Bobko – Balance sheet shows club with $18,960 Still waiting on figures from Swab account. Foundation - $6,000.
 
 
Stacy Trevenon- International Chair wants to set up a meeting after next Thursday’s meeting.
 
 
Warren Barmore to discuss changes in dues and structures.
 
Rose Serdy spoke about Abundant Grace and results of Little/big Coyote project.
 
Liz Schuck spoke about community service projects – little libraries, literacy, coast clean-up, commitments to Coastside Hope.
 
 
Susan Kealey – Secretary report; Club has 42 members – includes 9 honorary.  31 active paying dues.  Average years in our club – 14 years with John Evans winning for the longest at 38 years.
 
Krystlyn Giedt – Youth Exchange report: We have 2 girls this year, Laura from Brazil and Jade from France and we're looking for a 3rd host family for Jade. Cost from club for each student is $2,000. Open to any donations. Next year we have one student.  Interact Club has been very busy with a number of community projects. Looking for club to help team up with them in future projects.
 
Ginger Minoletti invited club to participate in Chamber Recognition Awards Dinner on January 23rd.
