Inspirational Thought:  John welcomed Louise Chileon 2017/18 Youth Exchange student from Lille France.  She is spending 3 weeks in California and currently staying with John and Larkin.
 
Guests and Visitors:
 
Warren’s guest was Sandra Winter – new exec director for Senior Coastsiders.  She was raised in Zimbabwe and came to California via Kentucky.  She is very happy in her new job.
            
Announcements 
 
Krystlyn passed out flyers for the Chamber’s Farm, Fish & Flowers which gives participants the opportunity to visit one of four Coastal tours of working farms, flower growers and more that otherwise are not open to the public.  Tickets are still available on the Chamber website.
 
Warren announced the Senior Coastsideers open house is next Wednesday and PP Paul noted it was one of the few times Warren wasn’t wearing a suit.
 
Paul also announced that Teresa Adam had visited him and she has gone through treatment for Melanoma and is looking and feeling good.  She hopes to return to Rotary soon. 
 
Mitone was full of District 5150 news – Oct 5th is the Polio bike ride and hike in Marin County
 
PRLS – the professional Rotarian leadership seminar is this Saturday the 20th
 
Another India Polio trip is being planned for next year and has 60 spots open.
 
Ginger Minoletti fined for going to Bay View, Michigan for the next 2 ½ weeks – 50th High School Reunion
 
Erik Piro reminded to use Social Media and our Facebook page to promote our Half Moon Bay Getaway and passed out flyers for connecting to our LinkedIn page.

Susan Kealey is delighted she has new neighbors – a young couple.  And an oft dreamed about Variegated Maya plant is now growing.
