April 25, 2024 -Social - Tour of Sam's Castle, Pacifica

Historic and graceful Sam’s Castle is often draped in Pacifica fog but on Thursday, April 25, opened its doors wide to welcome seventeen guests including Half Moon Bay Rotarians, and young Suzanne Perrett, our exchange student from France. They enjoyed an enchanting stroll through the 22 rooms of this 10,000-square-foot castle, filled with artifacts and historical collectables gathered by Italian-born painting contactor Sam Mazza took delight in opening his doors to share. By the time of his peaceful passing at age 96, Mazza had established his vision that people would enjoy the castle he had bought in which to have fun and to host folks from friends to politicians, in casual visits to elegant parties.
