Toni DeWaal is a Certified Interior Designer, owner and principal of Studio D, LLC, a full-service interior design firm focusing on residential projects in Silicon Valley. Her creativity and passion for interior design are embodied in her work, repeat clients, and long-term professional relationships. She has been published locally and nationally and has been recognized by industry manufacturers. Toni holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of Utah. After starting her career in arts administration at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, she progressed to advertising, and later shifted to interior design where she has worked in Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, and collaborated on projects outside these areas. For Toni, building community spans both the architectural and design industry, as well as the community at large. She has served on the National Kitchen and Bath Association - Northern California Board, Build-It-Green Steering Committee, AIA Santa Clara County Programs Committee, and Palo Alto University Rotary board. In addition, she served for 9 years on the board of Stevenson House, a low-income senior housing facility in deep need of seismic upgrades and renovation. Serving on the board as both a committee chair and member of the task force, she and the board worked to raise $20 million, vet developer and consultants, provide fiscal and project oversight, develop communication paths with residence and neighbors, and ultimately see the project through to completion. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, gathering with friends, cooking, and attending lectures and arts events. As those activities are presently on hold, she stays connected by regularly visiting with friends and family by phone or online. |

Greetings from District 4400, Ecuador!
It is our pleasure to invite you and your Club to attend our XV Rotary Project Fair to be held online on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of November 2020. As you may know, a project fair is a program which enables clubs to find international partners for developing humanitarian joint projects financed with Global Grants. During this two-day Rotarian encounter, Ecuadorian clubs will exhibit online their projects to visiting Rotarians who will learn about them, and if interested, reach agreements for joint work and support.
Due to the worldwide spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, this is the first time that our fair will be held online. Our visitors will meet our Clubs and see important projects of a wide variety and may establish new partnerships as well as long lasting friendships.
District 4400 has a wide experience in Global Grants and the know-how to guide other Districts and Clubs in fulfilling requirements and processing the necessary paperwork with The Rotary Foundation in a very fast and effective manner, so that projects can be started very quickly.
For registration or any further information, please just reply this mail to the Chair of the XV Project Fair District Committee, Amparo Abuja at a.albuja.comunicacion@hotmail.com.
Details on online connection will be provided upon registration to the fair.
We hope to count with your participation in this first online Project Fair in our District.
Yours in Rotary,
Fernando Aguirre
District Governor 2020-2021
